Gen. Edgar B. Aglipay (Ret.) is a distinguished leader in security, logistics, and public service. As Chairman of EMME Group of Companies, he oversees a network of businesses specializing in security services, risk management, and corporate protection. His expertise in law enforcement and strategic operations has positioned EMME as a trusted provider of security solutions in the Philippines. Beyond his corporate leadership, Gen. Aglipay serves as Chairman of the Senior Advisory Council of the Port Users Confederation of the Philippines (PUCP), where he plays a vital role in guiding industry policies, trade facilitation, and port security initiatives. His extensive experience in governance and regulatory affairs continues to shape PUCP’s advocacy for efficient and secure trade operations. A former Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Gen. Aglipay led the national police force from August 23, 2004, to March 14, 2005. As President of Philippine Skylanders International (PSI) Inc. which is based in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), he oversees operations in customs bonded warehousing, freight forwarding, and cargo handling, ensuring seamless logistics solutions for domestic and international trade. His expertise in business development and systems innovation has strengthened PSI’s position as a trusted service provider in the industry. In addition to his corporate leadership, Mr. Bote serves as Vice President for Government Affairs of the Port Users Confederation of the Philippines (PUCP), where he plays a crucial role in engaging with regulatory agencies, advocating for trade policies, and fostering collaboration between the private sector and government institutions. With a strong background in international business, logistics management, and industry advocacy, Mr. Bote continues to drive innovation and efficiency in the Philippine trade and transport sector.
